Fernando Poma is the Executive Vice President of Real Hotels & Resorts, the hotel division of Grupo Poma. From this position, he has led the expansion and operation of a broad portfolio of hotels in Latin America and the United States, including brands such as InterContinental, Marriott, Hilton, and Choice Hotels.
With a unique combination of business acumen, artistic sensitivity, and humanistic leadership, he has been a key figure in transforming Real Hotels & Resorts into an organization recognized for its corporate culture, operational excellence, and long-term vision.
Fernando studied Economics at INCAE Business School, Hotel Management at Cornell University, and earned an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School.
His career combines more than 25 years of executive experience with a strong vocation for talent development, sustainability, and the creation of meaningful experiences.
In addition to his business role, he is also a musician, speaker, and mentor, with a holistic approach that inspires in both corporate and personal spheres.
