Rodolfo José Cabrera Urruela

Rodolfo is the Managing Partner of Grupo Darcon, one of the most renowned architecture and design firms in Guatemala, with a solid presence across Central America. The firm has completed more than 1.5 million square meters in residential, commercial, and corporate projects, building a reputation for excellence and high-impact design.

An architect by training, he studied at Universidad Francisco Marroquín and graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University. He has furthered his education through executive programs at Harvard University and Columbia University, focused on investment management and finance.

He has led and participated in landmark real estate developments with sales exceeding USD 500 million, including El Pulte Golf, conceived as a community centered on family life and sports, which has become a regional benchmark.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors and the Investment Committee of Grupo Cofiño Stahl, a family-owned company with over 80 years of history in the automotive sector. He also plays an active role on the boards and investment committees of other entrepreneurial families in the region.

As a member of Grupo Apolo’s Strategic Council, he contributes a perspective that bridges design, business vision, and extensive experience in real estate development.

He is also a board member of the Valle de Los Ángeles Orphanage and has collaborated for more than a decade with the National Pediatric Oncology Unit (UNOP).

He is passionate about family, travel, and tennis.
