Jorge Mini serves as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Grupo Apolo, one of Guatemala’s leading real estate development groups. He joined Grupo Apolo in 1997 as a Project Manager and was appointed Co-CEO in 2006. During this period, he led the positioning and consolidation of the Tiffany brand, which became a benchmark for luxury residential development in Guatemala. In 2014, he was named CEO and President of the Group. Under his leadership, Grupo Apolo has achieved the largest growth in shareholder equity in its history while maintaining a disciplined, debt-free approach to expansion, driven by long-term vision, strategic execution, and prudent capital management.
Jorge holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration from Purdue University.
Beyond his business career, Jorge is deeply committed to philanthropy and social impact. Since 2006, he has been actively involved in the fight against childhood cancer. In 2013, he founded and built the Estuardo Mini Home, a charitable care center providing free support for children with terminal cancer, along with a transportation fund that ensures access to treatment for families in need. Since 2017, he has served on the Board of Directors of the AYUVI (Guatemala’s children’s cancer hospital Foundation), while also supporting numerous initiatives focused on education, healthcare, environmental conservation, and animal welfare.
